Everfuel Signs Frigg Hydrogen Grant and Reserves Pipeline Capacity
Everfuel reports a signed production-support agreement and cross-border pipeline reservations for Frigg. Buyers still need firm offtake and FID evidence.
What changed
Everfuel's 4 November 2026 release reports a grant agreement signed on 30 October under Germany's European Hydrogen Bank Auctions-as-a-Service support. It states EUR 0.98/kg of RFNBO hydrogen produced, corresponding to EUR 245 million. It also reports Danish and German pipeline reservations equivalent to 400 MW of electrolyser capacity for Frigg's initial phases.
The buyer decision
German buyers can reassess Frigg supply talks with clearer funding and transport evidence. They should still require firm offtake, final capacity bookings and a recorded FID before treating future supply as committed. Everfuel says it continues to develop the project and pursue firm offtake.
Certification readiness
For SCREEN readiness work, keep funding, delivery and RFNBO evidence separate. A grant signature does not establish electricity sourcing, MRV or certification readiness. Indian producers should compare delivery terms and evidence duties, not assume this award opens a funding route for Indian production.
Limits
This is an issuer report, not independent verification of the grant contract. The release does not disclose its full conditions. Pipeline reservations do not prove operating infrastructure or assured delivery. This update dates the grant signature, not the later announcement or an undisclosed reservation date.
